Whinburgh and Garvestone Bowls Club
News of 2025 season and the Year Ahead
Whinburgh and Garvestone Bowls club meet on the Bowling Green behind the village hall during the summer months. We were very pleased to receive a grant from the Paul Basham Trust, via Norfolk Community Foundation, to help with the cost of maintenance of the green this year.

League matches are all completed now for 2025. The club came runners up in the Dereham second division so are promoted to first next season, a brilliant result. The photo shows the cup presentation. Our Age UK league results were less good, but everyone enjoyed the games in the summer sunshine.

During the summer we also enjoyed two friendly knockout competitions with refreshments when friends and family joined in the fun, and we ended the season with a club BBQ and roll up in glorious sunshine.
