Whinburgh and Garvestone Bowls Club
​We are a small and friendly bowls club, our Green is behind Garvestone village hall.
Bowls is a sport suited to all ages.
We play in the summer months in the afternoon as well as the evening, and share out the matches to suit other commitments - but there is always plenty of opportunity to join in.
Whether you are already a bowls player or have watched people playing and thought you would like to have a go, do come along. New members are always welcome.

Whinburgh and Garvestone Bowls Club End of Season News - September 2024
League matches are all completed now, and the club came mid-way in both the Dereham and Age UK leagues which was pleasing. We ended the season with a club BBQ and roll up in glorious sunshine, where much to their surprise the competition winners were James and Marion, pictured.​​​

At the annual Norfolk Age UK championship in Hunstanton our team came a brilliant third out of 24 teams competing, being pipped to second place by just one point. Well done to Barry, Peter and Andy for an excellent result.

Starting Monday 16 September at 3.30 to 5.30 in Garvestone Village Hall.
£6 session.
No experience necessary as tuition included.
Bowls available but smooth bottomed footwear required.
