Booking Form for the Main Hall
and other areas of the Hall site

Before completing this form, we suggest you take a few moments to read the documents listed in the Guide to Booking on the 'How to Book' page which gives access to many details of what we can offer, our booking procedure, and your obligations as the Hirer.

If you only wish to make an initial enquiry, you can use the form on the Contact Us page.

 

Please complete this form if you wish to make a booking for use of any part of the hall, or the outside spaces. Please complete each section as far as you are able. This will enable us to accurately confirm costs and provide the details you will require, such as access codes for the doors etc.

Important Notes - 

For Individual Hirers, you must be aged 25 years or older.

For bookings of two hours or more, an extra 30 minutes will be allowed, free of charge, both before and after the event for setting up and clearing away.

Please do NOT include this in your start and finish times.

Bookings for parties for 16 yr olds and over can only be accepted from the residents of Garvestone, Thuxton & Reymerston.

​

We require at least one months booking notice except for Beneficiaries (those living in Garvestone, Thuxton or Reymerston)​​

 e.g. Birthday Party / Charity Fundraiser

DATE required AND Start & End Times for the period of the event.

Your free half hour before and after will be added to the times you request.

Commercial Hirers

You will need to forward your -

Current Certificates of Employers and Public Liability Insurance;

PAT Test for any electrical equipment of your own that you intend to use in the hall;

If Children or Vulnerable Adults are involved, a copy of your current DBS Certificate.

Alcohol for Sale, or Supply at a Ticketed Event

The Hirer MUST obtain a Temporary Event Notice from Breckland Council;

and submit a copy to the Booking Secretary before the event;

and display the notice at the Village Hall during the event.
