Vestibule & lobby:
The front entrance opens into the vestibule, with the disabled toilet and cleaner’s room immediately on the left.
The main lobby has natural lighting from sun pipes. The Post Office also serves as a cloakroom, and the library is open during P.O. hours.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has a serving counter that opens into the main hall, protected by a fire shutter. The key to raise or lower this is on the left.
Facilities include a double draining sink, a double oven, a refrigerator and dish washer.
Utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided.
Main hall:
The main hall has natural light from four windows on the left, while overhead are six rows of fluorescent lights. For a more intimate effect, there are coloured lights on either side.
Blackout blinds are controlled by a switch on the right hand side and two wind catcher towers control natural ventilation. Press close if there is a draft, and press open to increase the ventilation.
Facilities include a beautiful sprung floor, a projector, screen, PA system and speakers.
The facilities are popular with various dance and exercise groups, and other facilities include short mat bowls equipment and table tennis tables.
